PRESIDENT:
Brenda Daley
Brenda Daley, originally from the village of Harris’ located in the Parish of St.George’s was educated at the St. George’s Primary School and then the Montserrat Secondary School. In 1993 she started a career in Nursing, following which in 1996 she graduated from the Glendon School of Nursing as a Registered General Nurse. Later in 2003, she graduated from the Antigua State College as a Registered Midwife with a Diploma in Midwifery and in 2007 graduated from the Jamaica School of Nurse Anaesthesia with a Diploma in Anaesthetics. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Nursing Administration at the University of the West Indies Mona Jamaica.
She is a very active member of the Montserrat Nurses Association and served in different areas such as Secretary, Vice President and President.
Brenda attends the Bethany Methodist Church in Judy Piece, Montserrat and also served as President of the Bethany Women’s Group’ also Vice President of The Pink Ribbon Charity – local organisation which supports Breast Cancer Awareness for Women.
Now President of the Helping Hands for Glendon Charity on Montserrat.

Mr and Mrs Baker are upstanding members of the Montserrat community and passionate about Helping Hands for Glendon:
Randolph and Judith Baker are happy to be part of the Committee because they are of the opinion that, as a people, we have the ability to advance health care on Montserrat. By pooling our collective skills and resources we can can make a significant contribution to the provision of modern health care services on island.

Hugh And Doreen Scantlebury
Doreen Chalmers Scantlebury originally from Brades and the late Hugh Scantlebury from Barbados are a retired couple, who have roots in the beloved island of Montserrat. It was through their own personal experiences of Glendon Hospital that inspired them to create a committee that would help to improve the current resources and equipment on the island, so that people can have greater accessibility for their individual needs as opposed to visiting other countries to access medical care.
Doreen Chalmers Scantlebury originally from Brades and the late Hugh Scantlebury from Barbados are a retired couple, who have roots in the beloved island of Montserrat. It was through their own personal experiences of Glendon Hospital that inspired them to create a committee that would help to improve the current resources and equipment on the island, so that people can have greater accessibility for their individual needs as opposed to visiting other countries to access medical care.
Their passion and commitment in the health and care sector stems from establishing the first thriving community based nursery in the UK since 1973 to date. Through their dedication, perseverance and enthusiasm for a positive change to Glendon Hospital they decided to make a difference and create a vision to invest and raise awareness of the needs in their community.
